I have been lucky enough to know very early on that psychology and counseling are where my passion lies. I am continuously humbled to help others through their personal journeys and bear witness to the strength and resilience that is discovered within. My training and interest are in clinical psychology, and I specialize in mood, anxiety, trauma, and psychotic-related disorders. I also specialize in multicultural counseling and serving underrepresented communities. In addition, I also support remote populations.
I have an integrative and holistic approach to counseling and draw on a variety of techniques and orientations. My experience has taught me that every individual and story is unique and that it is imperative to work together with my clients to find the right approach that meets their needs. I recognize how difficult it can be to take those first steps, but I can assure you that you will be met with a safe and compassionate space to share.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree majoring in Psychology from McGill University where I also minored in Behavioral Science and Religion. I am also a proud member of the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners as a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.
I offer medication management, supportive talk therapy, and TMS treatment (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) as a Board-Certified, Adult Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). Each individual has lived a unique set of experiences that lead them to be the person they are today. My goal as a mental health provider is to help clients achieve stability and happiness while being the captain’s of their own ship. Client involvement in their treatment is important to me and I value the input they have as we embark on the journey to wellness together. I help clients recognize the how and why behind their conditions, ways to manage thoughts and feelings, and do this all with the philosophy that we are ever-evolving and set-backs happen! It is what we do in our toughest moments to get back to a life we love living that matter the most. I am patient-centered and holistic in my methods and up to date on the most recent evidence-based practices in the field of psychiatry.

I am a mother of six beautiful children and enjoy creating art, writing and playing music, and philanthropy. I am a life-long learner and always enjoy it when my clients, family, or friends introduce me to new things whether it be shows, songs, jokes, or interesting facts! I love animals and have two cats who keep me on my toes. My biggest wish for myself and for others is to find our authentic selves, to live truthfully, and to love freely.
